Creative & Editorial Strategist
Fashion · Culture · Storytelling

Cultural insight is my starting point. Creative direction is my output.

I've built publications, led teams, and made work that takes a position.

I live where fashion, culture, and brand become the same conversation.

About

Aliya Hollub is a New York-based creative with a background spanning fashion editorial, luxury real estate marketing, and PR. She served as Editor-in-Chief of Strike, a fashion and culture magazine, where she owned creative direction, brand voice, editorial strategy, and everything in between. She has also interned at Purple PR in VIP and Influencer Relations, worked as a product coordinator at sustainable fashion start-up WE-AR4, and served as a National Contributor at Her Campus, a digital publication reaching 19M+ monthly readers.

She holds a B.A. in American Culture Studies with a concentration in Popular Culture and a minor in Writing and Design from Washington University in St. Louis — essentially a formal education in context. The idea that nothing in culture exists in isolation, and that history, politics, art, and popular culture are all just different ways of asking the same questions. The writing minor just made sure she could say all of that clearly.

When she is not working, she is journaling, obsessing over The Pitt, scrolling, losing track of time in galleries, people watching, and reading every fashion magazine she can get her hands on. Basically the same thing, just off the clock.
